Dr. Neetu Talwar did her Graduation, Post-Graduation & Fellowship (F.C.P.S) from Seth G. S. Medical College & K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai and Fellowship in Paediatric Pulmonology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She has more than 24 years of experience. She has several National and International publications to her name, and has organized several CMEs and workshops and is national faculty for national pediatric respiratory training programmes for pediatricians like ATM (asthma training module), RTI GEM (respiratory tract infections group education module), and many such teaching programmes & respiratory CMEs.

Dr Neetu Talwar is a child specialist and has further specialized in respiratory and airway diseases in newborns / children like asthma, allergies, sleep disturbances, breathing disorders and tuberculosis.

She is one of the few pediatric pulmonologists of the country with experience and expertise in Pediatric Bronchoscopy and Interventional Bronchoscopy in children, which is available in very few centres in the country. She is national faculty for pediatric flexible bronchoscopy workshops.

Who is a Pediatric Pulmonologist or Chest Specialist

A pulmonologist is a doctor who specializes in all diseases and ailments affecting you child’s lung and airways. As you are well aware in today’s times especially, a simple cold and cough could be due to viral illness or something more serious like a COVID infection or swine flu. A pediatric pulmonologist diagnoses, treats and manages all illnesses that primarily affect the lungs, especially if the symptoms are of long duration (chronic) or recurrent.
