Dr. Neetu Talwar did her Graduation, Post-Graduation & Fellowship (F.C.P.S) from Seth G. S. Medical College & K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai and Fellowship in Paediatric Pulmonology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She has more than 24 years of experience. She has several National and International publications to her name, and has organized several CMEs and workshops and is national faculty for national pediatric respiratory training programmes for pediatricians like ATM (asthma training module), RTI GEM (respiratory tract infections group education module), and many such teaching programmes & respiratory CMEs.
Dr Neetu Talwar is a child specialist and has further specialized in respiratory and airway diseases in newborns / children like asthma, allergies, sleep disturbances, breathing disorders and tuberculosis.
She is one of the few pediatric pulmonologists of the country with experience and expertise in Pediatric Bronchoscopy and Interventional Bronchoscopy in children, which is available in very few centres in the country. She is national faculty for pediatric flexible bronchoscopy workshops.

Influenza (flu) or common cold is a viral infection which primarily affects the respiratory system (nose, throat, and lungs). It is spread by tiny droplets from the nose, throat or mouth of an infected person. Symptoms develop 48 hours after coming into contact with the virus. Common symptoms are fever, chills, generalized aches and pains, headache and respiratory symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, cough).
Pneumococcus, also called Streptococcus pneumoniae, is a bacterium that is commonly found in the nose and throat of healthy people without causing disease. It can spread to different parts of the body to cause a variety of diseases, one of which is pneumonia. Streptococcus pneumoniae is the leading cause of bacterial pneumonia.
A pulmonologist is a doctor who specializes in all diseases and ailments affecting you child’s lung and airways.
